A Love Affair with October
Autumn is such a show off! Those golden hues and crunchy leaves get me every time. Call me crazy, but something about that fall sunshine is so much more vibrant than those summer rays.
I've happily welcomed back my fall and winter favorites – they've been sitting in the back of my closet for far too long! Before the weather turned and the rain made it's impending comeback yesterday, I was able to capture some beautiful shots in the sunshine! This is such an easy look that is beyond cozy and comfy.
Plaid, as we know, is an essential autumn pattern. I picked up this poncho last year at Target and it's the perfect thing to throw on and go, but still look extra chic while doing it. Plus, it's like wearing a giant blanket! I've paired it with some distressed denim and knee-high boots for a casual afternoon stroll in the leaves. This pom-pom beanie gives the look an added punch of personality, and let's be honest, it's so much fun!
The Bouqs Co. released a collection of fall bouquets fit for the season, and this one named Harvest is my favorite. It's October's Bouq of the Month, and I'm absolutely swooning over the color palette. Purple kale, orange roses, cheery red hypericum berries and cool greenery come together to create an arrangement that just sings pumpkin patches, spiced cider and cozy socks.
Get out there and enjoy the best fall has to offer – don't forget to carve a pumpkin!
