Oribe: More than Just Luxe Haircare
Hair is probably my biggest challenge on the daily. Probably the most abused routine, too. It's always getting straightened, curled, dyed...you name it. I've always heard amazing things about Oribe, not just "you need to try it", but rather "how have you not tried it yet?". After diving head first into their Signature haircare line (pun intended), I'm here to say the hype is real.
I'd like to begin by expressing how much I adore the sleek, luxe packaging on this brand. You'll want to proudly display these bottles in your bathroom. The gold typography and branding are so sophisticated against the shiny black bottles, as if to say "welcome to the world of adult haircare products". All products are vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free too, so you can feel good about what you're using. I decided to start by trying their Signature Shampoo and Conditioner instead of one of their more targeted lines just to get a feel for how this brand would work for me. I instantly knew that I'd indulged in something special. The formula on both the shampoo and conditioner were intensely moisturizing yet weightless: like a tall, cool glass of water for my hair. It wasn't tangling during the day like it normally does, either.
For those days that I don't wash my hair (more often than not during the workweek), Oribe's Gold Lust Dry Shampoo has my back. I really like that it doesn't spray white residue all over my scalp like several of the dry shampoos that I'm accustomed to. Translucent powder instantly refreshes my 'do by absorbing product buildup, oil and impurities. I like to use this in tandem with Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray, which locks my style in place and gives me incredible volume and sexy texture. I like to keep a travel size in my purse for an instant mid-day lift.
Oribe has so much more to offer than just haircare. They've got an entire beauty line that I'm just dying to work my way through! As you all know, I'm a huge lipstick lover so I had to start with a few of their Lip Lust Crème Lipsticks. I've been rocking two red shades all February – Ruby Red & Tropic Flame – and these ultra-hydrating lipsticks are no joke. They both have intense color with a smooth, satin finish. The formula literally glides onto your lips for a silky, indulgent feel while an infusion of White Lily and Myrrh moisturizes, protects and visibly plumps lips. I'll take every shade in the collection, pretty please!
Huge thanks to Oribe for letting my try out some of your amazing products – I'll definitely be back for more. Their Serene Scalp collection was just recently released this month and the millennial pink packaging is calling my name.
