Outfitting Made Easy for Valentine's Day

Outfitting Made Easy for Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you lovers out there! Regardless of how you're celebrating, I hope it's a day that's filled with love. This is probably one of my favorite outfit posts to photograph and write about because I love the occasion it’s for!

When Adam and I really make a date night out of Valentine’s Day, I love to wear something that has both a touch of romance and fun. This year’s choice couldn’t be a better combination of the two! Plus it's an effortlessly easy and affordable outfit!

Jumpsuits are a new found love of mine. Every woman should have one in her closet. It’s a complete all-in-one outfit option that’s easy to pop on and go. There’s an array of styles out there too, making it super easy to find one that works for your body type. I’ve got broad shoulders, so I adore this classic black cross neck jumpsuit from Olive + Pepper. I’m wearing it with platform heels here, giving the illusion that my legs are a mile long! It won’t break the bank, either, it's only $60!

Accessories are a girl’s best friend when it comes to classic black pieces. These pink mini tassel earrings give a touch of festivity to the entire look and will bring lots of smiles your way! They’re lightweight, which is essential for any statement earrings that you plan on wearing for more than a couple hours. Did I mention they’re only $16? Between these and the jumpsuit, your outfit will still be under $100!

This handbag by Foley + Corinna is a piece after my own heart. It’s got a classic shape and perfect size, but is super edgy. Talk about seriously spiked dreams – I love it so much! You can double up the strap or leave it long and wear as a crossbody. This isn’t just a date night accessory for me, but an everyday handbag that I’ve put in rotation. You wouldn’t guess it’s vegan leather either given the quality; a feature that makes it easy to clean and durable. It also comes in a beautiful dark teal, but of course I prefer the classic black for further outfit pairing options!

Of course, I couldn’t have a Valentine’s Day look without a bouquet of roses! Since this look is a little less formal, I opted for an arrangement that is a little out of the ordinary! This gathering of spray roses from The Bouqs Co. is known as Santa Cruz'n, and is so colorful that I don’t dare pick a favorite shade. The pinks play perfectly with my earrings, too!

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day, no matter your plans! Special thanks to Olive + Pepper, Foley + Corinna & The Bouqs Co. for an outfit to remember.
